Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A general easterly flow over northern parts.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough lies just inland from the west coast will move into central
parts of the State on Friday as a cold front approaches the SW corner. The cold
front will move over far southern parts early on Saturday with a ridge
developing south of the State in the wake of the front. A broad surface trough
will develop over the South West Land Division on Sunday and Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 25 September
Morning showers or drizzle southwest of a line Busselton to Bremer Bay.
Forecast for Saturday 26 September
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division contracting to the
coastal parts between Cape Leeuwin and Bremer Bay in the afternoon and evening.
Forecast for Sunday 27 September
Showers near the south coast between Cape Naturaliste and Eyre. Showers and the
chance of thunderstorms over the southern Goldfields, western Eucla, and the
adjacent South West Land Division in the afternoon and evening.
Forecast for Monday 28 September
Showers near the south coast east of Esperance. Showers and the chance of
thunderstorms over the southern Goldfields, clearing early morning.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
