Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies through the western Kimberley and near the Pilbara coast.
A fresh to strong easterly flow over northern districts on Thursday and Friday.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over western parts with a high pressure system
moving into the Bight during Thursday. A weak cold front will approach the
state Friday, brushing the southwest of the state late Friday and early
Saturday. A second weak front will pass over the southwest Capes late Sunday
and move east during Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Thursday 1 October
Generally sunny over the State with gusty easterly winds over the Kimberley and
gusty north to northwesterly winds over southern districts.
Forecast for Friday 2 October
Showers developing about the southwest Capes during the afternoon, extending to
southwest of a line Mandurah to Albany Friday night.
Forecast for Saturday 3 October
Showers southwest of a line Lancelin to Bremer Bay, clearing during the morning.
Forecast for Sunday 4 October
Showers developing southwest of a line Busselton to Walpole during the day,
extending to southwest of a line Mandurah to Albany in the evening.
