Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over central parts of the state.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A slow moving cloud band lies over southern parts of the SW Land Division. A
cold front will affect the southwest of the state later on Wednesday, moving
through the eastern SW Land Division, Goldfields and Eucla on Thursday. A
westerly flow will be maintained over southern parts of the state on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 6 August
Showers southwest of a line Dongara to Salmon Gums with some moderate falls in
the west and south.

Forecast for Wednesday 7 August
Scattered showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Narrogin to Albany,
increasing to areas of rain over the South West district towards evening and
slowly extending to southwest of a line Eneabba to Bremer Bay by midnight with
some moderate falls.

Forecast for Thursday 8 August
A band of showers southwest of a line Shark Bay to Norseman initially with
moderate falls. Showers extending to southwest of a line Shark Bay to Eucla by
midnight, although easing over southern inland parts of the SW Land Division
later in the day.

Forecast for Friday 9 August
A band of showers easing over the far southeast Gascoyne, northern and eastern
Goldfields, southwest Interior and the eastern Eucla, contracting southeast
during the day. Showers over western and southern parts of the SW Land
Division, clearing from inland parts during the day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
