Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies over the west Kimberley and Pilbara Coast. The passage of
a series of complex low pressure systems over southern parts of the state over
the next few days will result in generally light winds over the northern half
of the state.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A complex low pressure system and upper level trough is approaching from the
west and will move over the southwest of the state during today, then into the
Bight on Monday. A second complex low pressure system is then expected to move
over the southwest of the state during Tuesday and into the Bight region on
Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 25 August
Showers and thunderstorms near the west coast, extending throughout the South
West Land Division and western Gascoyne during the day. Moderate to heavy falls
and some hail possible with thunderstorms in western parts of the Southwest
Land Division.
Isolated showers developing in the Goldfields and western Eucla late in the day.

Forecast for Monday 26 August
Isolated showers across the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields,
Eucla and southern Interior, more frequent with isolated thunderstorms in
southern parts for a period early morning.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 August
Showers and thunderstorms developing over western parts of the South West Land
Division, extending into eastern parts late in the day and reaching the far SW
Gascoyne and southwest Goldfields towards midnight.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 August
Isolated showers across the South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne,
southern Goldfields and western Eucla more frequent with isolated thunderstorms
in southern parts.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms, extending throughout the Eucla and adjacent
Interior during the day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
