Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies over the southern Kimberley and through the eastern
Pilbara.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad westerly flow lies over the southern half of the state, producing
showers over southwestern parts today and across the weekend. Becoming windy
today over the South West Land Division and winds increasing further on
Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 30 August
Showers and becoming windy over areas west of a line Carnarvon to Kalgoorlie to
Ravensthorpe, tending scattered about the Lower West and South West districts.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms developing about the southern Interior and
eastern Eucla this morning, clearing eastwards during the afternoon.

Forecast for Saturday 31 August
Showers southwest of a line Shark Bay to Israelite Bay. Windy over areas south
of a line from Kalbarri to Leonora.

Forecast for Sunday 1 September
Showers southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Southern Cross to Ravensthorpe.

Forecast for Monday 2 September
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Ravensthorpe. Isolated showers and
thunderstorms developing about the southern Interior and far eastern Eucla in
the afternoon, contracting south eastwards during the evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
