Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies over the southern Kimberley and through the Pilbara.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad westerly flow will develop over the southern half of the state during
Thursday producing showers over southwestern parts for the remainder of the
week and across the weekend. Becoming windy on Friday and Saturday over the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 29 August
Showers west of the a line Coral Bay to Dalwallinu to Albany, extending to
remaining areas of the South West Land Division west of Esperance during the
afternoon and evening. Early morning showers along the south coast.
Thunderstorms possible during the afternoon about western parts south of
Geraldton.

Forecast for Friday 30 August
Showers and becoming windy over areas west of a line Carnarvon to Kalgoorlie to
Esperance.

Forecast for Saturday 31 August
Showers southwest of a line Carnarvon to Israelite Bay. Windy over areas south
of a line from Kalbarri to Leonora.

Forecast for Sunday 1 September
Showers southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Southern Cross to Ravensthorpe.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
