Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies over the southern Kimberley and through the eastern
Pilbara.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep low to the south of the state is driving showers across the SW Land
Division and into adjacent parts. Damaging winds are possible over the
southwest of the state on Saturday. Winds will ease on Sunday, with a westerly
flow persisting on Monday ahead of a cold front that will move through the SW
Land Division on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 31 August
Showers throughout the SW Land Division and adjacent Goldfields. Damaging winds
possible southwest of a line from Mandurah to Lake Grace to Ravensthorpe.
Morning showers possible over southern and coastal parts of the Gascoyne.

Forecast for Sunday 1 September
Showers southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Southern Cross to Ravensthorpe.

Forecast for Monday 2 September
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Albany. Isolated showers and
thunderstorms developing about the southern Interior and northern Eucla and
eastern Goldfields.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 September
Showers extending throughout the SW Land Division during the day, with
thunderstorms possible southwest of a line Perth to Albany. Isolated
thunderstorms and showers over the eastern Eucla and southeast Interior,
clearing during the day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
