Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough extends over central parts of the Pilbara with a broad trough
developing over the eastern Kimberley during the start of next week.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge lies over the southern parts of the State. A weak cold
front brushes along the south coast Sunday with a second stronger cold front
expected to move over the southwest of the State on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 30 April
Showers along the coastal parts of the south coast. Showers and possible
thunderstorms over the northern parts of the South Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 1 May
Showers near the Southwest Capes and along the south coast, reaching inland
parts of the South West district and adjacent western South Coastal district
for a period during the day. Showers and possible thunderstorms over the
eastern Kimberley, South Interior, far northern Goldfields, northeastern
Gascoyne and central Pilbara.

Forecast for Monday 2 May
Showers south of a line Jurien Bay to Lake Grace to Israelite Bay, contracting
to the coastal parts of the south coast in the evening. Showers and possible
thunderstorms over the east Kimberley, Interior northeast Gascoyne and Pilbara.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 May
Showers near the south coast and the western Eucla coast. Showers and possible
thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, northeast Gascoyne and Pilbara.

Forecast for Wednesday 4 May
Showers near the coastal parts of the Southwest District. Showers and possible
thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, northern Gascoyne and Pilbara.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
