Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Pilbara coast through to the southern Kimberley. A
ridge lies over central parts of the State and will drift south during
Saturday..

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front will move over the SW of the State late Friday. A high
pressure ridge over central parts of the State will move south and strengthen
during Saturday. Another weak front approaches the southwest of the State later
Sunday moving along the south coast during Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 29 April
Showers through the South West Land Division, more likely near the Lower West
coast and the south coast with afternoon thunderstorms possible near the south
coast. Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm in the South Interior and the
adjacent northeast Gascoyne and southeast Pilbara.

Forecast for Saturday 30 April
Showers over southern and far western parts of the South West Land Division,
far southern Goldfields and the southern Eucla, contracting to southern coastal
parts during the day. Showers and possible thunderstorms over the South
Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 1 May
Showers near the Southwest Capes and along the south coast, reaching inland
parts of the South West district and adjacent western South Coastal district
for a period during the day. Showers and possible thunderstorms over the South
Interior, northern Goldfields, far eastern Gascoyne and inland west Pilbara.

Forecast for Monday 2 May
Showers south of a line Jurien Bay to Collie to Bremer Bay, contracting to the
south coast east of Albany towards evening. Showers and possible thunderstorms
over the Interior and eastern Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 May
Showers near the south coast east of Albany and over the western Eucla coast.
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the Kimberley and north Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
