Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the eastern Pilbara to the central Interior and will
gradually contract northwards to lie from the Pilbara coast to the southern
Kimberley by Friday. A ridge lies over the central parts of the State.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front will move over the SW of the State late Friday. The ridge
moves south and strengthens over southern parts of the State on Saturday.
Another weak front approaches the southwest of the State later Sunday. The weak
cold front will move along the south coast on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 28 April
Showers through the South West Land Division, apart from the northeastern
Central Wheat Belt and inland Central West. Showers in the southern Interior,
eastern Eucla and the far southwest Gascoyne.

Forecast for Friday 29 April
Showers through the South West Land Division, more likely near Lower West coast
and the south coast. Showers and the chance of a thunderstorm in the South
Interior and the adjacent NE Gascoyne and the SE Pilbara.

Forecast for Saturday 30 April
Showers over southern and far western parts of the South West Land Division,
far southern Goldfields and the southern Eucla contracting to coastal parts
during the day. Showers in the South Interior with the chance of a thunderstorm.

Forecast for Sunday 1 May
Showers along the south coast and the west coast south of Jurien Bay. Showers
extending into inland parts of the South West district and adjacent Great
Southern for a period during the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms in the
South Interior.

Forecast for Monday 2 May
Showers south of a line Jurien Bay to Eyre. Showers and thunderstorms in the
South Interior and eastern Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
