Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies through the Pilbara, slowly moving eastwards during the week as a
new ridge develops to the south.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong cold front approaches the South West Land Division moving through the
southwestern parts on Tuesday. A band of middle level cloud extends east ahead
of the front, easing later in during Tuesday. A ridge of high develops over the
southern parts of the State on Wednesday. During Thursday a moderate cold front
moves through the southern parts of the State with a second weaker front
brushing along the southern coastal parts on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 25 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the South West Land Division, Goldfields, South
Interior and the Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 26 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne,
Goldfields and the Eucla. Gusty showers and thunderstorms are possible
southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay during the morning and early
afternoon, easing from the west. Moderate to heavy falls possible over the
Central West, Central Wheat Belt and South East Coastal Districts.

Forecast for Wednesday 27 April
Showers near the west coast south of Shark Bay, extending over inland parts for
a period during the day. Showers near the south coast extending into the Great
Southern for a period during the day. Showers and thunderstorms in the
northeast Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, Southern Interior and inland Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 28 April
Showers along the coastal parts between Shark Bay to Israelite Bay, extending
to southwest of a line Kalbarri to Southern Cross to Israelite Bay during the
day. Showers and thunderstorms in the NE Gascoyne, northern Goldfields,
Southern Interior, and far eastern Eucla, mainly in the afternoon.

Forecast for Friday 29 April
Showers along the coastal parts between Geraldton and Esperance. Showers and
thunderstorms over southeastern Pilbara and the Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
