...Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 3 PM this afternoon to
midnight CST tonight...
The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow which is in effect from 3 PM this
afternoon to midnight CST tonight.
* Geographic area...locations west of the Cumberland Plateau.
* Timing...3 PM CST this afternoon to midnight CST tonight.
* Main impact...one inch of snowfall...with locally higher amounts
possible.
* Other impacts...snow-covered roadways will make travel hazardous
from this afternoon through tonight.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving.
