Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A deep trough lies over central parts of the state with a mostly westerly flow
over the Kimberley and Pilbara

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough of low pressure is moving east over central and eastern parts of the
state, ahead of a low pressure system which will move to the south of the state
during Saturday. A high pressure ridge will develop in the wake of the low on
Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 30 November
Showers and windy conditions west of a line from Kalbarri to Merredin to
Hopetoun, contracting to the south and lower west coasts in the afternoon and
evening. Isolated morning showers and thunderstorms about the west Eucla,
southeast Goldfields and eastern parts of the Southeast Coastal district, with
possible heavy falls, strong squalls and hail. Possible thunderstorms and some
hail about west southern coastal parts for a period this morning and early
afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms over eastern parts of the state as well as
the northern Kimberley. Hot and windy in the eastern Eucla and Southern
Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 1 December
Mainly morning showers near the south coast and along the west coast south of
Lancelin. Afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms over the central and
eastern Kimberley and the northeast Interior.

Forecast for Monday 2 December
Isolated afternoon showers about southern coastal parts west of Albany. Showers
and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern and eastern Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 December
Isolated showers about southern coastal parts west of Bremer Bay. Showers and
thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Eucla and adjacent Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
