Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A deep trough lies over central parts of the state with a mostly westerly flow
over the Kimberley and Pilbara

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough of low pressure is moving east ahead of a cold front that will cross
the west coast during Friday morning. A low pressure system will move south of
the state on Saturday, with a high pressure ridge developing in the wake of the
low on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 29 November
Showers developing southwest of a line from Shark Bay to Northam to Albany.
Showers and thunderstorms over eastern parts of the SW Land Division,
Goldfields and southeast Gascoyne, with some heavy falls, gusty winds in the
southern Goldfields and the Southeast Coastal district. Showers and
thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley, eastern and southern
Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 30 November
Showers and windy conditions west of a line from Kalbarri to Merredin to
Albany, contracting to the south and lower west coasts in the afternoon and
evening. Isolated early showers and thunderstorms about the west Eucla,
southeast Goldfields and eastern parts of the Southeast Coastal district.
Showers and thunderstorms over eastern parts of the state as well as the
northern Kimberley. Hot and windy in the eastern Eucla and Southern Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 1 December
Mainly morning showers near the south coast. Afternoon and evening showers and
thunderstorms over the central and eastern Kimberley and the northeast Interior.

Forecast for Monday 2 December
Isolated afternoon showers about southern coastal parts west of Albany. Showers
and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern and eastern Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
