Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A deep trough lies over central parts of the state with a mostly westerly flow
over the Kimberley and Pilbara

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough of low pressure near the west coast will move inland today as a cold
front approaches the southwest corner. The cold front will cross the west coast
on Friday while the trough moves into central parts of the state. A low
pressure system will move under the southwest of the state on Saturday, with a
high pressure ridge developing in the wake of the low on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 28 November
Showers and thunderstorms over far eastern parts of the state. Showers and
thunderstorms developing over central and southwestern parts of the South West
Land Division in the afternoon. Some early morning drizzle in the south of the
state.

Forecast for Friday 29 November
Showers southwest of a line from Shark Bay to Northam to Albany. Showers and
thunderstorms over eastern parts of the SW Land Division and the Goldfields.
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley and the
northeast Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 30 November
Showers and windy conditions west of a line from Kalbarri to Merredin to
Ravensthorpe, contracting to the south and lower west coasts in the afternoon
and evening with thunderstorms possible near the western south coast. Showers
and thunderstorms over eastern parts of the state as well as the northern
Kimberley. Hot and windy in the southeast of the state.

Forecast for Sunday 1 December
Mainly morning showers near the south coast. Afternoon and evening showers and
thunderstorms over the central and eastern Kimberley and the northeast Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
