Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over central parts of the state with a mostly westerly flow
over the Kimberley and Pilbara

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will lie to the south of the state, while a trough
develops near the west coast on Tuesday and Wednesday. A mid-level disturbance
will move over southern parts of the state on Wednesday. On Thursday the
surface trough will move inland from the west coast as a cold front approaches
the southwest corner. The cold front will cross the west coast on Friday, as
the trough moves into central parts of the state.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 26 November
Showers and thunderstorms about the far east Kimberley and the Interior,
extending into the northern Goldfields and the adjacent Gascoyne and Central
Wheat Belt in the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 27 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the east Kimberley, eastern and southern
Interior, Goldfields, southeast Gascoyne, central and eastern parts of the
South West Land Division, and the Eucla. Moderate to heavy falls possible in
the eastern parts the SW Land Division, southern Goldfields, and western Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 28 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern parts of the state, clearing the
Eucla, southeast Goldfields, and southern Interior in the afternoon. Late
afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms in the central parts of the SW
Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 29 November
Showers in the Lower West and South West districts, extending to remaining
areas west of a line Carnarvon to Albany during the afternoon and evening.
Afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms in the eastern parts of the SW
Land Division and the adjacent Goldfields and Gascoyne. Showers and
thunderstorms in the northern and eastern Kimberley, and the northeast Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
