Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies near the Kimberley coast and Pilbara coast.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies well south of the state and will remain there
through the next week. A broad surface trough will remain over inland parts
this weekend, before deepening down the west coast early next week.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 26 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Pilbara, northern and
eastern Gascoyne, northeast Goldfields, Eucla and Interior. Patchy drizzle near
the south coast west of Esperance, mostly during the morning.
Forecast for Sunday 27 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, central and eastern
Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, far northeast Goldfields and Interior. Morning
drizzle near the eastern south coast.
Forecast for Monday 28 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne,
northern Goldfields and Interior. Morning drizzle near the southern and Eucla
coasts.
Forecast for Tuesday 29 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
northern Goldfields and Interior, extending into northern parts of the SW Land
Division in the afternoon.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
