Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts and is expected to remain
there for the next few days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep surface trough over central parts of the state will continue to move
eastwards during Friday as a high pressure ridge extends along the south coast.
Another trough will develop near the west coast over the weekend, as a high
pressure system moves south of the state. The surface trough near the west
coast on Monday will begin to move inland late in the day.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 1 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior and Pilbara.
Showers and thunderstorms possible about eastern parts of the SW Land Division
and the adjacent Goldfields and Gascoyne. Showers or drizzle areas about
southern coastal parts west of Esperance.

Forecast for Saturday 2 November
Patchy drizzle near the south coast east of Walpole. Showers and thunderstorms
over the northern and western Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
Interior, southern Goldfields and northern and eastern parts of the SW Land
Division.

Forecast for Sunday 3 November
Mostly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms over the far northern
and western Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, western Interior,
southwest Goldfields, the northern and eastern SW Land Division. Showers and
thunderstorms reaching western coastal parts south of Perth during the evening.

Forecast for Monday 4 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
western Goldfields, and the SW Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
