Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts and is expected to remain
there for the next few days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep surface trough just inland from the west coast will move eastwards
during Thursday and Friday as a high pressure ridge extends along the south
coast. Another trough will develop near the west coast over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior and the inland
Pilbara. Evening showers and thunderstorms possible over southeastern parts of
the SW Land Division and the adjacent Goldfields. Some drizzle developing about
the SW Capes during the afternoon.

Forecast for Friday 1 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior, inland Pilbara
and northern Gascoyne. Showers and thunderstorms possible central and eastern
parts of the SW Land Division. Showers or drizzle areas about southern coastal
parts west of Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 2 November
Patchy drizzle near the south coast and Eucla coast. Showers and thunderstorms
over the northern and western Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
Interior, southern Goldfields and northern and eastern parts of the SW Land
Division.

Forecast for Sunday 3 November
Mostly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms over the far northern
Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, western Interior, southwest
Goldfields and northern and eastern SW Land Division, extending through
remaining parts of the SW Land Division in the evening. Morning drizzle along
the south coast and Eucla coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
