Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts and is expected to remain
there for the next few days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the state. A deepening surface
trough near the west coast will move inland later Wednesday with a new ridge
moving south of the state during Thursday and Friday and a trough remaining
inland from the west coast.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior, northern
Gascoyne and the inland Pilbara.

Forecast for Thursday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior and the eastern
Pilbara. Afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms possible over eastern
parts of the SW Land Division and the adjacent Goldfields and Gascoyne.

Forecast for Friday 1 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior and eastern
Pilbara. Afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms possible over the
eastern Gascoyne, western Interior, Goldfields, eastern parts of the SW Land
Division and the western Eucla. Showers or drizzle areas about southern coastal
parts west of Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 2 November
Morning showers or drizzle near the south coast and Eucla coast. Afternoon and
evening showers and thunderstorms over the west Kimberley coast. Showers and
thunderstorms possible over the Gascoyne and northern Goldfields, southwest
Interior and far northeastern parts of the SW Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
