Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies near the Kimberley coast and Pilbara coast.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies well south of the state and will remain there
through the next week. A deep surface trough will move inland from the west
coast on Friday and broaden over central parts of the state over the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 25 October
Showers and thunderstorms over southeastern parts of the SW Land Division, the
western Eucla, east Goldfields, east Gascoyne, Pilbara and the north and west
Kimberley. Areas of drizzle developing about western south coastal parts this
evening.
Forecast for Saturday 26 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, eastern Pilbara,
northeast Gascoyne, northeast Goldfields, Eucla and Interior. Light showers
near the south coast west of Hopetoun, mostly during the morning.
Forecast for Sunday 27 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, eastern Pilbara,
northeast Gascoyne, far northeast Goldfields and Interior. Morning drizzle near
the eastern south coast.
Forecast for Monday 28 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and Interior. Morning drizzle near the southern
and Eucla coasts.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
