Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts and is expected to remain
there for the next few days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the state and will remain there
for the next few days. A surface trough near the west coast deepens further on
Tuesday before moving inland late Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 29 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
northern Goldfields and the central Interior, extending into far northern parts
of the SW Land Division in the afternoon. Morning coastal drizzle over the
Eucla and eastern Southeast Coastal district.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern and central Interior,
northern Gascoyne, and the inland Pilbara.

Forecast for Thursday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior and the eastern
Pilbara. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms possible over central and eastern
parts of the SW Land Division and the adjacent Goldfields and Gascoyne.
Isolated showers developing about the southwest Capes during the morning.

Forecast for Friday 1 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Afternoon showers and
thunderstorms possible over the northern Interior, inland Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, central and eastern parts of the SW Land Division and the adjacent
Goldfields. Isolated showers about southern coastal parts west of Bremer Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
