Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies near the Pilbara coast and across the base of the Kimberley. The
trough will drift southwards over the weekend and then east next week.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system lies south of the State and will continue moving
eastwards over the next few days. A surface trough is deepening near the west
coast, moving inland in central and northern parts as a low pressure system
develops in the trough over the weekend. The low and trough then move eastwards
early next week.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 23 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and inland Pilbara. Chance of a
shower in the eastern Eucla.

Forecast for Friday 24 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northeast Interior, inland
Pilbara, northeastern Gascoyne and far northern Goldfields. Chance of a morning
shower for the Eucla coast. Chance of a morning thunderstorm in the Great
Southern, eastern South Coastal and western South Coastal.

Forecast for Saturday 25 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and eastern Pilbara, eastern
Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and Interior. Chance of showers near the western
south coast.

Forecast for Sunday 26 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior,
northern Goldfields and central and southern parts of the South West Land
Division away from the west coast.

Forecast for Monday 27 November
Cooler near the west coast. Showers and thunderstorms over southern and eastern
parts of the South West Land Division and also Goldfields, western Eucla,
Interior, Kimberley and far eastern Pilbara. Showers possible along the west
coast near and south of Carnarvon.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
