Western Australia Forecast

Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies from the inland Pilbara, down across central parts of the state.
It moves east over the next few days to lie over the inland Pilbara and
southern Kimberley by Friday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep trough lies over eastern parts and will continue moving eastwards. A
weak cold front lies near the southwest Capes and will move over the southwest
corner of the state this evening and early tomorrow. A ridge of high pressure
will develop near the south coast during Wednesday and Thursday and will
interact with an upper trough to produce rain over southeast WA on Thursday.
The west coast trough redevelops on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 28 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior and eastern Eucla.
Generally light showers near western south coast and lower west coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, eastern Eucla and
Goldfields. Showers near the south coast with showers near the west coast
clearing in the morning.

Forecast for Thursday 30 November
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley and eastern Interior. Areas of rain
with the chance of a thunderstorm developing early in the Goldfields, Eucla,
South East Coast and adjacent South Interior, clearing from the west during the
day. Some showers near the western south coast.

Forecast for Friday 1 December
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, far eastern Pilbara and North
Interior. Showers near the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Saturday 2 December
Showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, North Interior, Pilbara and
northern Gascoyne. Early shower for the Eucla coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
