Western Australia Forecast

Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough about the Pilbara coast and across the northern
Interior. Fresh southwesterly winds over the western Pilbara from Friday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad surface trough lies across central parts of the South West Land
Division, through the Goldfields to the southeast of the State. The trough will
move eastwards during Friday ahead of a weakening cold front that will cross
the southwest of the State. A trough will redevelop through central parts of
the South West Land Division through to the southern Interior during Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 29 October
Showers and thunderstorms over eastern parts of the State, and in eastern parts
of the Pilbara. Showers with the chance of thunderstorms over southern parts of
the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, and far eastern parts
of the Pilbara. Showers in the South West district extending to remaining areas
southwest of a line Kalbarri to Southern Cross to Hopetoun in the afternoon and
evening. Thunderstorms possible south west of a line Perth to Albany during the
afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Saturday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Goldfields, Eucla, far southern
parts of the Interior and the Southeast Coastal district. Showers over
remaining southern and central parts of the South West Land Division
contracting east during the day.

Forecast for Sunday 1 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Goldfields, Eucla, southern
Gascoyne, southern parts of the Interior, central and eastern parts of the
South West Land Division. Showers and thunderstorms over northern and eastern
parts of the South West Land Division. Showers developing in the South West
district and the adjacent Great Southern and South Coastal districts in the
afternoon and evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
