Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough lies near the Pilbara coast and across the northern
Interior.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad surface trough lies across central parts of the South West Land
Division, through the Goldfields to the southeast of the State, and will remain
there for the next few days. A weakening cold front will reach southwestern
parts on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 27 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over most of the State apart from the
western Pilbara and western Gascoyne, with only showers expected over the
southern South West Land Division. Gusty winds possible with thunderstorms over
central parts of the State in the afternoon and evening.
Forecast for Wednesday 28 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the central and eastern parts of the State and
across the central South West Land Division. Showers about southern coastal
parts of the Southwest Land Division.
Forecast for Thursday 29 October
Showers and thunderstorms over eastern parts of the State and southern parts of
the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Friday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and far eastern parts of the
State. Showers extending from the west across the South West Land Division,
with thunderstorms possible inland from the west coast.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
