Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough lies inland from the Pilbara coast and across the
northern Interior. The trough over the Pilbara will move eastwards during
Friday and Saturday.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad surface trough lies across central parts of the South West Land
Division, through the Goldfields to the southeast of the State, and will remain
there for the next few days. A weakening cold front will cross the southwest of
the State on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 28 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the central and eastern parts of the State and
across the central and southeastern South West Land Division. Showers about
southwestern parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Thursday 29 October
Showers and thunderstorms over eastern parts of the State. Showers over
southern parts of the South West Land Division with a chance of thunderstorms
during the afternoon.
Forecast for Friday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and far eastern parts of the
State. Showers extending from the west across the South West Land Division and
the adjacent Goldfields, with thunderstorms possible inland from the southwest
coast.
Forecast for Saturday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Goldfields, Eucla, far southern
parts of the Interior and the Southeast Coastal district. Showers over
remaining southern and central parts of the South West Land Division
contracting east during the day.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
