Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough about the Pilbara coast and across the northern
Interior. Fresh southwesterly winds over the western Pilbara.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weakening cold front that will cross the southwest of the State on Friday. A
trough will redevelop through central parts of the South West Land Division
through to the southern Interior during Saturday. A second cold front and
associated mid level feature will move over the South West Land Division late
Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior, and far
eastern parts of the Pilbara. Showers in the South West district extending to
remaining areas southwest of a line Kalbarri to Southern Cross to Hopetoun in
the afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms possible south west of a line Jurien
Bay to Bremer Bay during the afternoon and evening. Possible afternoon showers
about the southern Goldfields, Southeast Coastal district and adjacent Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 31 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Goldfields, Eucla, eastern and
southern Gascoyne, far southern parts of the Interior and northern and eastern
parts of the South West Land Division. Showers over remaining southern and
central parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 1 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Goldfields, Eucla, east and south
Gascoyne and southern parts of the Interior. Showers over southern parts of the
South West Land Division, developing throughout late morning, with possible
thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Monday 2 November
Afternoon showers and thunderstorms in the Kimberley, north and east Interior.
Showers and thunderstorms throughout the South West Land Division, Goldfields,
Eucla and southern Interior, contracting southeast during the afternoon and
evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
