Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies over the Kimberley. A ridge of high pressure will develop
over central parts of the state on Tuesday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will move along the south coast during Tuesday morning. Cold
fronts are also expected to affect the southwest of the state early on
Wednesday and on Thursday, before a ridge of high pressure develops over the
south of the state on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 24 September
Windy over southern parts of the state, with damaging winds possible in the
morning. Showers southwest of a line from Carnarvon to Israelite Bay, easing
during the day, but increasing about the South West district Tuesday night.

Forecast for Wednesday 25 September
Showers southwest of a line Denham to Southern Cross to Eyre, contracting to
the south coast in the afternoon.

Forecast for Thursday 26 September
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Merredin to Israelite Bay, contracting
to the south coast in the evening. Thunderstorms possible south of a line Perth
to Israelite Bay during the day.

Forecast for Friday 27 September
Showers mainly about coastal parts south of Perth, easing and contracting to
southern coastal areas in the afternoon.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
