Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A heat low lies over the inland Kimberley with a trough extending to near the
Pilbara coast. Another trough extends down through central parts of the state
and is expected to move east on Monday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge is developing near the south coast and will move south of
the state during Wednesday. On Thursday a high will move into the Bight while a
deep surface trough forms near the west coast. The trough will move inland
during Thursday and continue to move eastwards on Friday. A weak cold front
then moves across southwestern parts of the Southwest Land Division.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 1 October
Light showers near the southwest coast between Bunbury and Albany. Afternoon
and evening showers or thunderstorms possible over the far north Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 2 October
Light morning showers near the south coast west of Israelite bay. Afternoon and
evening showers or thunderstorms possible over the far north Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 3 October
Afternoon and evening showers or thunderstorms over the central and east
Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 4 October
Showers extending to southwest of a line from Perth to Bremer Bay during the
morning. Afternoon and evening showers or thunderstorms possible over the far
north and northwest Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
