Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A heat low lies over the inland Kimberley with a trough extending to near the
Pilbara coast. Another trough extends down central parts of the state as a
ridge strengthens across southern parts of the state. The trough down through
central parts redevelops over the weekend and then moves east on Monday as
another cold front moves over the south of the state.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing through southern parts of the state. A weak front is
expected to reach the southwest corner late Saturday before dissipating.
Another front moves through on Sunday and Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 27 September
Isolated showers near the western south coast. Early showers along the south
coast east of Esperance. Isolated afternoon and evening showers and
thunderstorms in the north and east Kimberley and adjacent Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 28 September
Isolated showers southwest of a line from Mandurah to Albany. Isolated
afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms in the east Kimberley, east
North Interior and adjacent South Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 29 September
Showers developing southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay, more
likely near the south coast. Afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms
continuing in the eastern Kimberley and northeastern Interior.

Forecast for Monday 30 September
Showers extending throughout the SW Land Division and southwest Goldfields,
clearing away from the south coast later. Afternoon showers possible in the
northern Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
