Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A heat low lies over the inland Kimberley with a trough extending to near the
Pilbara coast. Another trough will extend down through central parts of the
state over the weekend, before moving east on Monday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak front is expected to reach the southwest corner late Saturday before
dissipating early Sunday morning. In its wake a middle level rain band will
develop over southern parts, clearing east during Monday. A ridge of high
pressure will develop along the south coast late Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 28 September
Isolated showers near the west coast south of Perth, and over the western parts
of the South Coastal district. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the over
the north and east Kimberley and adjacent northeast Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 29 September
Showers increasing to rain areas southwest of a line Perth to Bremer Bay,
extending to southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay by midnight.
Afternoon and evening showers or thunderstorms possible in the far north
Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 30 September
Rain areas southwest of a line Denham to Israelite Bay, with some moderate
falls over the south and west. Rain areas easing over parts away from the south
coast during the afternoon and contracting to the Southeast Coastal district,
adjacent southeastern Goldfields and the Eucla Monday night. Afternoon and
evening showers or thunderstorms possible in the far north Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 1 October
Early showers clearing the Eucla coast by sunrise. Showers near the south coast
west of Bremer Bay. Afternoon and evening showers or thunderstorms possible
over the far north Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
