Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A tropical low over the Interior will drift slowly south. Moderate to heavy
rainfall expected over the Interior and eastern Goldfields.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the State with a tropical ow
moving over the far eastern parts over the weekend. A broad trough lies near
the west coast, moving inland on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 31 January
Rain and thunderstorms with moderate to heavy falls over the western Kimberley,
Interior, eastern Pilbara, northeast Goldfields and the Eucla. Showers along
the eastern Pilbara coast. Showers about southern coastal parts east of
Walpole, extending into the southern Goldfields in the evening.

Forecast for Thursday 1 February
Rain and thunderstorms with moderate to heavy falls over the Interior, far
eastern Goldfields and the Eucla also over the western Kimberley in the
morning. Showers over the southern Goldfields, Central Wheat Belt, Great
Southern and southern coastal districts, contracting to the south coast in the
afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeastern
Pilbara.

Forecast for Friday 2 February
Rain and thunderstorms with moderate to heavy falls over the South Interior,
far eastern Goldfields and the Eucla. Showers and thunderstorms over the
Kimberley, Interior, eastern Pilbara and northeastern Gascoyne. Showers about
southern coastal parts, extending to the southern Goldfields for a period in
the morning.

Forecast for Saturday 3 February
Rain with moderate falls over Southern Interior, Goldfields and the Eucla,
extending into the far eastern parts of the South West Land Division in the
afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Northern Interior,
eastern Pilbara and eastern Gascoyne. Showers along the southern coastal parts,
mainly in the afternoon.

Forecast for Sunday 4 February
Rain over the southeastern Goldfields eastern South East Coastal district and
the Eucla in the morning. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley,
Interior, eastern Pilbara northeast Gascoyne and remaining Goldfields and
Eucla. Showers near the coastal parts east of Walpole in the morning.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
