Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A tropical low over the southwest Kimberley will drift slowly south on Tuesday
and Wednesday towards the Interior. For more details on the tropical low refer

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is developing over the south of the State. A broad
trough will develop near the west coast on Wednesday and Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 30 January
Rain and thunderstorms with heavy falls over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and
the Interior, extending into the far northern and eastern Goldfields during the
evening. Showers and thunderstorms over the Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne,
northern and eastern Goldfields and the northern Eucla. Showers near the south
coast east of Walpole.

Forecast for Wednesday 31 January
Rain and thunderstorms with moderate to heavy falls over the western Kimberley,
Interior, far eastern Pilbara, northeast Goldfields and the Eucla. Showers and
thunderstorms over the central and eastern Pilbara, northeastern Gascoyne and
central Goldfields. Showers about southern coastal parts east of Walpole.

Forecast for Thursday 1 February
Rain and thunderstorms with moderate to heavy falls over the Interior, far
eastern Goldfields and the Eucla also over the far western Kimberley in the
morning. Showers about southern coastal parts, extending to the southern
Goldfields for a period in the morning. Showers and thunderstorms over the
Kimberley, eastern Pilbara.

Forecast for Friday 2 February
Rain and thunderstorms with moderate to heavy falls over the South Interior,
far eastern Goldfields and the Eucla. Showers and thunderstorms over the
Kimberley, Interior and adjacent Pilbara. Showers about southern coastal parts,
extending to the southern Goldfields for a period in the morning.

Forecast for Saturday 3 February
Rain with moderate falls over Southern Interior, eastern Goldfields and the
Eucla, contracting to into the Eucla in the afternoon. Showers and
thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Northern Interior and remaining Goldfields.
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay, mainly in the afternoon.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
