Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across southern parts of the State, and is
expected to direct a moderate to fresh easterly flow through the forecast
period.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies along the south coast with a broad low pressure
system well to the west of Perth. A weak cold front will reach the southwest of
the State late today before a new ridge develops from the west on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 2 July
Patchy rain possible over the South West Land Division, the southern Gascoyne
and south western Goldfields. Showers increasing in the afternoon and evening
in the Lower West and South West districts with possible thunderstorms about
the South West district and adjacent parts.

Forecast for Friday 3 July
Light morning showers near the coast in the Central West. Isolated showers
about the Lower West, South West and South coastal districts, with possible
early morning thunderstorms about the South coastal district. Morning showers
over southeastern parts of the South West Land Division and adjacent Goldfields.

Forecast for Saturday 4 July
Isolated showers south of a line Perth to Bremer Bay, increasing about southern
coastal parts in the evening.

Forecast for Sunday 5 July
Showers about southern coastal districts of the Southwest Land Division and
adjacent Great Southern. Isolated early morning showers about coastal parts of
the Central West.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
