Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough will lie over the northern parts of the State during Friday and
Saturday. A strong ridge will develop over the southern parts of the State on
Sunday and Monday, producing a fresh easterly flow over the Pilbara and
Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system will reach the west coast during Friday and will extend
rain over most of the southern parts of the State. The rain will contract to
the southeast parts of the State on Saturday as a new ridge of high pressure
develops to the south. The strong ridge will move over the southern parts of
the State on Sunday and Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 31 July
Areas of rain and possible thunderstorms over the South West Land Division, the
Goldfields, southern Gascoyne and the Eucla. Moderate to heavy falls possible
over the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, and southern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Saturday 1 August
Areas of rain and possible thunderstorms across the the Goldfields, and the
Eucla, easing to showers from the west during the day. Showers in the southern
Interior. Showers over the South West Land Division, west Pilbara and Gascoyne
easing and contracting to the south coast by the evening. Moderate falls
possible over the Goldfields and the Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 2 August
Showers near the south coast and Eucla coast, extending to inland parts for a
period from late morning to early afternoon.

Forecast for Monday 3 August
Showers near the south coast and Eucla coast, extending to inland parts for a
period from late morning to early afternoon.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
