Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across central WA.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A rain band lies across central parts of the State, with a cold front expected
to brush the western south coast late in the day. Another cloud band and low
pressure system will develop to the west of the state on Thursday, before
moving across southwestern parts during Friday and contracting eastwards over
the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 29 July
Areas of rain through the southern Gascoyne, northern parts of the South West
Land Division, the Goldfields and Eucla. Possible thunderstorms over the
southern Gascoyne and northern Central West. Possible showers over remaining
parts of the South West Land Division, more likely near the western south
coast. Warm across the northern half of the State.

Forecast for Thursday 30 July
Patchy rain through the southern Gascoyne, northern parts of the South West
Land Division, the Goldfields and Eucla, increasing from the west in the
evening. Showers near the south coast. Warm across the northern half of the
State.

Forecast for Friday 31 July
Areas of rain throughout the South West Land Division, the Goldfields, southern
Gascoyne and the Eucla. Moderate to heavy falls possible over the South West
Land Division. Warm across central parts of the State.

Forecast for Saturday 1 August
Areas of rain across the South West Land Division, the Goldfields, southern
Gascoyne and the Eucla, clearing from the west during the day. Moderate to
heavy falls possible over the eastern South West Land Division, southern
Goldfields and the Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
