Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will strengthen over central parts of the State during
Monday as a high pressure system moves over South Australia. The high pressure
system will move slowly eastwards as a complex low pressure system nears the
central west coast Tuesday afternoon. A broad surface trough will develop over
central parts of the state on Wednesday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will strengthen over central parts of the State during
Monday as a high pressure system moves over South Australia. The high pressure
system will move slowly eastwards as a complex low pressure system nears the
central west coast Tuesday afternoon. A weak cold front will move along
southern coastal parts on Wednesday, with a high pressure ridge developing
south of the state in its wake.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 27 July
Patchy rain developing near over the far western Gascoyne, and northern Central
West during the evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 July
Areas of rain over the southwest Gascoyne and Central West extending throughout
northern, central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division and
southwest Goldfields during the afternoon and evening. Moderate falls possible
near the west coast. Isolated showers about the South West District. The chance
of thunderstorms about coastal parts of the Central West district in the
afternoon.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 July
Areas of rain over most of the southern half of the State, tending to showers
southwest of a line Bunbury to Esperance. Rain clearing from inland southern
parts of the South West Land Division during the day.

Forecast for Thursday 30 July
Areas of rain through northern parts of the South West Land Division,
Goldfields, southern Interior and northern Eucla, clearing eastern parts by the
afternoon. Isolated showers about southern coastal parts east of Albany.
Isolated showers through the Lower West and southern Wheat Belt in the
afternoon.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
