Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A weakening ridge of high pressure lies across central WA.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front near the south coast will clear during the morning. A low
pressure system is developing to the west of the State and will extend rain
over southwestern parts during today and Friday, contracting east over the
weekend as a new ridge of high pressure develops south of the State.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 30 July
Showers over most of the southern half of the State south of a line from Denham
to Leinster. Areas of rain and possible thunderstorms developing across the
South West Land Division from the west during the day and extending into the
Goldfields in the evening. Heavy falls possible over the southern Central West,
northern Lower West and across the Central Wheat Belt during the afternoon and
evening. Warm across the northern half of the State.

Forecast for Friday 31 July
Areas of rain and possible thunderstorms throughout the South West Land
Division, the Goldfields, southern Gascoyne and the Eucla. Moderate to heavy
falls possible over the South West Land Division and southern Gascoyne. Warm
across central parts of the State.

Forecast for Saturday 1 August
Areas of rain and possible thunderstorms across the South West Land Division,
the Goldfields, southern Gascoyne and the Eucla, easing to showers from the
west during the day and contracting south and east in the evening. Moderate to
heavy falls possible over the eastern South West Land Division, southern
Gascoyne, Goldfields and the Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 2 August
Showers near the south coast and Eucla coast.
