Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system over South Australia will continue to move east of the
next few days. A broad surface trough will develop over central parts of the
state on Wednesday and move towards the north coast on Thursday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system to the west of the state will extend a band of cloud over
western parts during Tuesday, with the low expected to weaken as it approaches
the west coast on Tuesday evening. The cloud band lingers over central parts of
the state on Wednesday as a weak cold front brushes the south coast. Another
cloud band and low pressure system will develop to the west of the state on
Thursday, before moving across southwestern parts during Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 28 July
Areas of rain extending throughout the South West Land Division and southern
Gascoyne and into the Goldfields and western Eucla. Moderate falls possible
near the west coast. The chance of thunderstorms about coastal parts of the
Central West and far southwest Gascoyne this evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 July
Areas of rain over the southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla and
northern parts of the South West Land Division, with thunderstorms possible
near the Gascoyne coast and adjacent parts. Showers over the remainder of the
South West Land Division, with generally light falls.

Forecast for Thursday 30 July
Areas of rain through the southern Gascoyne, the northern half of the South
West Land Division and the Goldfields. Possible showers over southern parts of
the South West Land Division and the Eucla.

Forecast for Friday 31 July
Areas of rain throughout the South West Land Division, the Goldfields, southern
Gascoyne and the western Eucla. Moderate falls possible over western and
northern parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
