Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough and low pressure system lies well north of the Pilbara coast, and will
move slowly west over the weekend. A ridge is developing south of the state.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A strengthening ridge lies near the south coast and will gradually drift south
over the next few days as a high moves into the Bight by Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 25 April
Chance of an early shower in the west Kimberley. Showers along the south coast
near and east of Windy Harbour, extending further inland in eastern parts for a
period during the day.
Forecast for Sunday 26 April
Showers with the chance of a thunderstorm in the Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and
adjacent Interior. Showers along the south coast near and east of Windy
Harbour, extending further inland in eastern parts for a period during the day.
Forecast for Monday 27 April
Showers along the south coast near and east of Albany, extending further inland
in eastern parts for a period during the day.
Forecast for Tuesday 28 April
Morning coastal showers over the Eucla and the adjacent Southeast Coastal
district. Late showers developing over the Central West district.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
