Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A weak ridge of high pressure extends over northern parts with a light to
moderate easterly flow.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system is forming in the Bight . Another high pressure system
nears the southwest of the State during Tuesday as another weak cold front
passes south of the state. A low pressure system to the west will extend a weak
cloud band over central parts of the state during Wednesday and Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 1 September
Morning showers over the Eucla and adjacent Interior. Light showers over
southern parts of the Central West district in the afternoon and evening.
Forecast for Tuesday 2 September
Showers southwest of a line Mandurah to Albany in the morning, extending to
southwest of a line from Perth to Esperance by the evening. Late showers
possible along the Gascoyne coast.
Forecast for Wednesday 3 September
Light showers over the northern South West Land Division, the Gascoyne and the
northern Goldfields. Showers over the Southeast Coastal district and adjacent
parts.
Forecast for Thursday 4 September
Light showers over the Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and adjacent Interior.
Showers possible near the south coast.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
