Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A weak ridge of high pressure extends over northern parts with a light to
moderate easterly flow.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front will brush the south coast during Sunday with a high pressure
system forming in the Bight during Monday. Another high pressure system nears
the southwest of the State during Tuesday as another weak cold front passes
south of the state.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 31 August
Showers at times through the South West Land Division, mainly in the south and
east. Showers over the southern Goldfields and Eucla, contracting southeast
during the day.
Forecast for Monday 1 September
Morning showers over the Eucla and near the eastern south coast, clearing
during the day.
Forecast for Tuesday 2 September
The chance of showers over western parts of the South West Land Division and
far southwest Gascoyne. Late showers developing over the Southeast coastal
district.
Forecast for Wednesday 3 September
The chance of showers over the northern South West Land Division and southern
Gascoyne and adjacent northern Goldfields. Showers over over eastern parts of
the Southeast Coastal district and over the Eucla.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
