Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies across the northern Kimberley. Fresh southeasterly winds
across the Pilbara and North Interior on Sunday, easing on Monday as a trough
deepens over the western Kimberley and extends down the Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system will move into the Bight on Sunday. A trough will form
near the west coast on Sunday, deepening then moving east during Monday. A cold
front will move through southern parts on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 30 September
Light showers near the southern and Eucla coasts.

Forecast for Sunday 1 October
Light showers possible near the eastern south coast in the early morning.
Afternoon thunderstorms possible in the far northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 2 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible about the northern and eastern Kimberley and
the eastern Interior, mostly during the afternoon and evening. Showers
developing near the western south coast later in the day.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 October
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division, with thunderstorms
possible in the far east. Showers and possible thunderstorms developing over
the southern Goldfields and the Eucla during the afternoon and evening. Showers
and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and the northeastern Interior, mostly in
the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 4 October
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers and
possible thunderstorms over the Goldfields and Eucla. Showers and thunderstorms
over the Kimberley and eastern Interior, mostly in the afternoon and evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
