Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough lies over the Kimberley. Fresh and gusty southeasterly
winds will affect the Pilbara and North Interior across the weekend. A trough
will deepen over the Kimberley on Monday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will develop over southern parts tonight and on Saturday,
with a high pressure system moving into the Bight on Sunday. A trough will form
near the west coast on Sunday before moving east during Monday. A cold front
will move through southern parts on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 29 September
Showers along the south coast. Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior.
Early evening thunderstorms possible over the far north Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 30 September
Light showers near the southern and Eucla coasts, mostly during the morning.
Rain and thunderstorms over the Interior, contracting eastwards during the day.
Possible heavy falls near the NT/SA Border. Afternoon thunderstorms possible
over the far north Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 1 October
Afternoon thunderstorms possible about the northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 2 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible about the northern and eastern Kimberley and
the eastern Interior, mostly during the afternoon and evening. Showers
developing near the western south coast later in the day.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 October
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division, with thunderstorms
possible in the east. Showers and possible thunderstorms developing over the
southern Goldfields, the Eucla and the adjacent Interior during the afternoon
and evening. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and the adjacent
Interior, mostly in the afternoon and evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
