Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough lies over the Kimberley. Fresh and gusty southeasterly
winds will affect the Pilbara and North Interior on the mornings over the
weekend. A trough will deepen over the Kimberley on Monday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A middle level disturbance will move towards eastern parts of the State on
Friday. A high pressure ridge will develop over southern parts during Friday
and Saturday, with a high pressure system moving into the Bight on Sunday. A
trough will form near the west coast on Sunday before moving east during Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 28 September
Showers possible over all but far eastern parts of the South West Land
Division, with thunderstorms possible in the early evening. Showers possible
over parts of the Interior.

Forecast for Friday 29 September
Showers along the south coast, extending to adjacent inland parts during the
day. Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior, northeast Goldfields and
northern Eucla. Afternoon thunderstorms possible over the far north Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 30 September
Showers along the southern and Eucla coasts, mostly during the morning. Rain
and thunderstorms over the Interior, contracting east during the day. Afternoon
thunderstorms possible over the far north Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 1 October
Morning showers possible about the coastal Eucla. Afternoon thunderstorms
possible about the northern Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 2 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible about the northern and eastern Kimberley and
the eastern Interior, mostly during the afternoon and evening.
