Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the Pilbara and Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A surface trough near the west coast is deepening and will linger near the
coast over the weekend, while a ridge of high pressure develops well south of
the State. During Monday the trough moves eastwards.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 20 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, eastern Pilbara,
Interior, eastern Gascoyne, northeast Eucla and northern Goldfields. Possible
damaging gusts, hail and heavy rainfall with thunderstorms over the Interior
district.

Forecast for Friday 21 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, eastern Pilbara,
Interior, southeast Gascoyne, Central West and northern Goldfields. Coastal
showers southwest of a line Augusta to Albany.

Forecast for Saturday 22 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the west Kimberley, Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Interior and the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 23 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne,
Goldfields, South Interior and the South West Land Division. Showers over the
Eucla. Gusty winds and heavy rainfall possible with thunderstorms over the
Gascoyne district.

Forecast for Monday 24 April
Showers over southern coastal districts. Showers and thunderstorms over the
northwest Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Interior and northeastern
parts of the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
