Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the Kimberley to coastal parts of the Pilbara and
into northern parts of the Gascoyne. Easterly pressure gradient will increase
over the northern half of the State during Wednesday and Thursday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
During Monday the trough near the west coast moves east and the ridge becomes
established through the southern half of the State. A weak cold front brushes
the south coast on Tuesday. A ridge of high pressure will lie near the south
coast during Wednesday and Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 23 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Interior and the South West Land Division. Showers over the Eucla.
Gusty winds and heavy rainfall possible with thunderstorms over the Gascoyne
and far northern Goldfield districts.

Forecast for Monday 24 April
Showers over southern coastal districts and southern Great Southern. Showers
and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, northern Goldfields,
Gascoyne, and Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 25 April
Showers over southern coastal districts, Great Southern, southeast Central
Wheat Belt, and southern Goldfields. Showers and thunderstorms over the
northwest Kimberley, Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, and Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 26 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Gascoyne and Pilbara. Morning
showers about the south coast. Windy morning near the east Pilbara and west
Kimberley coasts.

Forecast for Thursday 27 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Gascoyne, Pilbara, west Gascoyne,
and the north Kimberley. Morning showers about the Eucla coast. Showers
possible near the western south coast. Windy morning near the east Pilbara and
west Kimberley coasts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
