Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the Kimberley to coastal parts of the Pilbara and
into northern parts of the Gascoyne. A weak tropical low lies well to the
northeast of the Kimberley and is slowly moving to the west southwest.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system is developing in the Bight and is expected to persist
for the next few days. A weak cold front will brush the southwest of the state
during Sunday afternoon, with a new ridge of high pressure developing in its
wake.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 26 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the west Pilbara and west Gascoyne. Showers
about the south coast, clearing this evening.

Forecast for Thursday 27 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the west Pilbara and northwest Gascoyne. Evening
showers and the chance of a thunderstorm in the northern Goldfields, and
adjacent southwest Interior. Early morning showers about the coastal Eucla and
late showers about the Southwest district.

Forecast for Friday 28 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley. Chance of showers or
thunderstorms over the northeast Goldfields ans southwest Interior. Early
morning showers about the Southwest district.

Forecast for Saturday 29 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the far north Kimberley. Chance of showers or
thunderstorms over the Eucla and southern Interior, clearing.

Forecast for Sunday 30 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Afternoon showers developing
about the Southwest district and extending along southern coastal parts in the
evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
