Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies across inland parts of the Pilbara and Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A broad trough of low pressure lies inland from the west coast and will move
east during Friday ahead of a weak cold front that will brush the south coast.
Cooler conditions across the southwest of the State following the front as a
ridge of high pressure develops from the west with a trough deepening near the
west coast during Sunday and Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 27 February
Showers over southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division with
thunderstorms in the east. Showers and thunderstorms over most remaining parts
of the State, apart from the western Gascoyne and western Pilbara.

Forecast for Saturday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern half of the State with heavy falls
possible. Showers near the south coast and Eucla coast.

Forecast for Sunday 1 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern half of the State, the Gascoyne,
Goldfields and northern South West Land Division, extending to central and
southeastern parts of the South West Land division during the afternoon and
evening.

Forecast for Monday 2 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern half of the State, the Gascoyne
Goldfields and far northern and eastern South West Land Division, clearing from
the southern Goldfields and eastern South West Land Division during the
morning. Showers near the south coast west of Albany, extending east to
Esperance by evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
